Aleida Socarras is the Director of Marketing and Sales at Florida Public Utilities Company. Aleida oversees the Company’s Marketing, Sales and Energy Conservation programs. Prior to joining FPU, Aleida was Senior Sales Manager for TECO Partners, a Florida Sales and Marketing company representing multiple energy-related organizations. Highly motivated and driven, Aleida enjoys working with others to achieve goals and ensure success. She has been past Chair of the Florida Natural Gas Association (FNGA) Marketing Committee and past President of Women in Communications. She is a Recipient of the Leadership Miami Service Award, a Central Palm Beach County Chamber Board member, and an active participant in other trade and non-profit organizations. Aleida earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Florida International University and a Masters of Industrial Psychology from the University of Texas in El Paso.
